Tim Southerland,

 

 

A man of many talents, who has play a strong role in the music industry for over 30 years. Tim Southerland was raised on the East Coast where his family gave him a strong foundation in the Lord thru music and praises. His uncle Paul Southerland who played the guitar had a major impact on Tim wanting to learn and play a musical instrument.

 

Tim started his lesson playing the bass guitar and went on to play keyboards and the drums. Tim love for music took him even farther into singing and playing jazz and gospel music.

 

 Once, Tim mastered his craft with such determination, which allowed him to enter the R&B circuit. While fulfilling his musical dreams Tim had the opportunity to opened up for groups and band such as Tower of Power, The Twilites and the Crusaders. Tim also toured with artist such as  George Clinton, Eddie Hazel, The Funkadelics and Bootsey’s Rubberband.

 

Tim’s musical career goes a step farther by writing and producing his own music. Now you can find Tim in his studio where he composes, write, produce and records music for other entertainers in the business as well as working on his new CD release, Soulful Smooth Jazz.

 

Tim also runs a midi production company called T-Phat Productions.

 

The first CD you may remember, Bohemian Knights was Tim own unique style of smooth jazz and gospel, the newest CD, and YOU NEED TO KNOW has a bit of jazz and gospel, with a message for your soul. Tim most recent CD Project, Drop It Like It’s Hot is in the making for being completed.
